i just replaced a bunch of my old submissions to this site with new, better-quality photos of the pieces, and uploaded some new things that i've done within the past few months. hmm what else to say. this year has been much better overall so far, all my friends are lovely (but i already knew that), and i'm writing almost every day. ap drawing is a lot of fun... and sculpture class is basically me torturing myself. i applied to pratt recently and i'm going to submit my applications to a few other schools...

i can't write poetry that's any good anymore unless i've a) read someone else's work first or b) done or seen something else creative recently i've kept struggling to think of anything to write and nothing was coming to mind until after i cracked open my giant allen ginsberg book to see if i could put a dent in it, and then again after i went to see a few of my friends at an open mic. i must keep this in mind for when i have writer's block in the future... also i'm posting most of my writing to my tumblr now. mostly because people actually read the stuff i put there whereas i'm pretty sure no one looks at the art and writing i put on devian

so i'll be uploading that asap. i'm definitely doing to be doing a lot more work this summer too. school ends in two days and i'm really excited for break to start
